1- How does being recognized as Most Promising Talent at the Festival inspire your next steps?
It does inspire me a lot, as I realized my work is being seen and recognized. It makes me excited to keep doing this and cool things that people like.
2- This recognition comes after your breakout in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and a standout turn in Gen V. How have those roles shaped your confidence and approach to selecting future projects?
Being on a TV show is like boot camp. The hours are crazy, you just are in a bunch of different circumstances, weather, emotions and hitting your marks. I feel invincible to the elements now. I feel a little bit more durable in the work.
3- As someone with a strong background in dance and theater, how do those early experiences influence your on-screen presence, and how was that seen in your recent performances?
4- You’ ve built up a devoted fan base through engaging roles and activism. How do interactions with fans— like meeting them at ceremonies or Q & As— fuel your passion for the work, especially during an event like this one?
I think it’ s nice to meet people in person, with social media we’ re so desensitized to everybody looking at numbers and scroll on their phone. Putting faces to people and seeing their excitement, hearing the impact I’ ve gotten to make is amazing and human. It’ s nice to be reminded of the humanity of all of it.

I think it all feeds into itself. I’ m an actor, but really at my core I’ m an artist. As long as I’ m creating I’ m happy. My favorite thing about acting is not press for instance, I like telling stories and create.
