In 2018 , Albright wowed us with the Slam Dunk ( which Albright released in 2014 ) high-octane sequel , G and released his self-produced anniversary project “ 30 ”, which is a reflection of some of his favorite music that he wrote over the past three decades ! Both projects stemmed from Albright ’ s own record label – Bright Music Records .

Albright has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards during his solo career , most recently for Best Improvised Jazz Solo at the 2023 Grammys for his featured work on Hank Bilal ’ s “ Keep Holding On .” His most recent release , the G-Stream 2 — Turn It Up EP , came out in April 2022 .
