You designed a belt for renowned professional tennis player Roger Federer in commemoration of his wins and receiving the prestigious Laureus Award four times in a row . What inspired the design of that custom piece and how did you feel to be chosen to craft what has become one of the world ’ s most valuable “ Roland Iten ” collections ?

The r8 mark 1 collection was the first collection of mechanical belt buckles ever made . When I launched it in a limited collection in 2004 I made history as the “ pioneer of mechanical luxury ”. The piece bestowed on Roger Feddere , which incorporates bespoke engravings is one of these rare limited pieces . But I don ’ t think Roger has ever worn it . He keeps it in his trophy cabinet !
